It's Ok! A story about showing kindness to others and learning to be kind to yourself.

This workshop features Molly’s first book, “It’s Ok! A story about showing kindness to others and learning to be kind to yourself.” The story, inspired by Molly’s love of Irish dance, follows a young dancer as she struggles to learn new things. She knows how important it is to be kind to others, but struggles with showing herself that same kindness. The story features examples of how to show kindness to friends, family, and the community while drawing parallels to giving that same respect to ourselves. Things won’t be perfect and that’s OK! Learning takes time.

After the story, Molly will lead a discussion on kindness drawing from examples in the book and allow children the opportunity to brainstorm how to show kindness in their own communities and to themselves.

Molly will introduce her non-profit, Greetings of Gratitude, and provide time for children to create cards to donate (supplies are provided).

Molly's Magical Monsters

This workshop features Molly’s second book, “Molly’s Magical Monsters.” The story follows a group of friendly magical monsters as they visit the human world to help kids in need. This time the magical adventure helps a group of children working to clean up their local beaches but keep running in to obstacles along the way. The story features themes of stewardship of the earth, friendship, kindness, and team work. When we work together we can accomplish more than when we work alone.

After the story, Molly will lead a discussion drawing on examples from the book and allow children to brainstorm ideas of how they can help make their communities a better place.

Molly will introduce her non-profit, Greetings of Gratitude, and provide time for children to create cards to donate (supplies are provided).
